Queensboro Symphony Orchestra Season Opening Concert

The Queensboro Symphony Orchestra comes to Mary’s Nativity Church. The program includes Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition and world premier of Symphony No.1, “Dance of Life” by Paul Joseph. No tickets are necessary but a free-will offering will graciously be accepted.

Long Beach Costume Parade

The City of Long Beach Recreation Department will hold the Annual Halloween Costume Parade in conjunction with the Fall Festival. Children grades 5 and under are invited to participate by wearing their favorite costume. Prizes for the best costume will be awarded on the bandwagon at the end of the parade.
